If there’s one thing I love is eating delicious food, it’s one of the best parts of travelling, and there are always new restaurants and dishes to try! Luckily for me, London is filled with great places to eat. There’s something for everyone, and there are always new places to try. After 10 months in this great city, here are some of my favorite places to eat!
A great place for all you vegans and vegetarians. Mildred’s has a few location, I tried the one in Soho, just by Carnaby Street. It’s super cosy, got a delicious halloumi burger for only £4,5 and add sweet potato fries for just £2, not bad at all! They also have a salad buffet and a lot of great food options, definitely worth a try!
A brewery with loud music, delicious pizza, and artsy and interesting people. You’ll find it in one of the warehouses by the sanal in Hackney Wick, a hot tip is to make your way here on a sunny day!
Perfectly located in Soho, this cute restaurant gets very busy so make sure to book a table! You’ll find it in Kingly’s Court and if you want a good drink for a great price, make sure to get there during happy hour! A drink for £5 is never a bad idea. They have a lot of delicious food to choose between, some great vegetarian options and the banana dessert was absolutely amazing!
Head here to get some American beer, frozen margaritas, listen to great music, and eat gigantic slices of pizzas. It can be found both in Dalston and in Shoreditch!
Vietnamese food is some of my favorite food, and luckily for me, London is filled with great places to find it! Viet Grill can be found on 58 Kingsland Road, and it’s definitely worth a visit!
One of my favourite Mexican restaurants in London. It’s got the cosiest bar downstairs, and all the staff are very well informed about the food and drinks, so make sure to ask for their recommendations if you can’t decide! The sharing boards are the most amazing option in my opinion, perfect for two people who can handle their food!
Located just off Oxford street is probably the darkest place I’ve ever eaten, they serve some great burgers and drinks to go with it. The walls are filled with art, photos, and there’s a photo booth in the middle of the restaurant! It’s not the place I’d go for a nice family dinner, but the perfect place for burgers and pre drinks!
A great BBQ restaurant with a very American vibe. Not a great place for vegans and vegetarians, as there really isn’t any options without meat, however, if you’re looking for some delicious ribs, or a great burger, this is a great place to go!

The food is incredible and I would recommend you try the veggie dumplings and the crispy turnip cake. Order in about 4-5 dishes and split between two people and simply enjoy the delicious experience!
Inspired by fairytales this place serves some delicious food to decent prices. A great place to go for a nice dinner, they make really good cocktails and offered great service, highly recommended!

Located at 15 Hoxton Market, this place is a fantastic hamburger spot! It’s located in an old church, you sit on old church benches, drinking beer while loud rock music is playing. They serve delicious whiskey sours, deep fried mac and cheese, and don’t forget to try a burger!
This little seafood restaurant and bar is located in a quiet part of Hackney. A hot tip is to drop by during their £1 oyster happy hour and try one of their impressive cocktails!
Not the most charming place, but ridiculously cheap and serving a delicious brunch. You’ll find it at 338 Bethnal Green Road and even though there might be a line out the door it moves fairly quickly and it’s worth the wait!
Climb up a flight of stairs and make your way into a bright industrial building and enjoy the large factory windows and white decor. A great place to go for dinner and drink, and on the weekends they serve a delicious brunch to decent prices,
If you like pancakes and gigantic milkshakes this is the place to go. This pancake house is located just by Holborn station, and is pretty close to a sweet heaven. And they also have gluten free option!
A lively two-floor street food market just by Shoreditch High Street, it’s open every Thursday to Sunday from noon to late, and offer a variety of food and drinks! It’s a great place to start your night out, but maybe not so much if you’re looking for a quiet and cozy dinner.
