There’s not a lot I like more than Spanish food, so being in Barcelona for two months was just amazing. There are so many fantastic places to eat, and Barcelona really is one of those places I never get tired of. If you happen to make your way to this vibrant city, here are some great suggestions of places to eat!
Segons Mercat Is located on Gan Via and in Barceloneta, and it’s one of my favorite places to go for tapas, it serves great sangria, and you shouldn’t miss their Patata Bravas (as if I ever order tapas without patata bravas) they have so many delicious things on the menu, and for a very good price!
Not actually a restaurant, but if you haven’t tried this before it’s a must! Pinxos you eat at bars and it’s small snacks, and you can eat as much or as little as you want! It’s perfect before a night out of if you just want something small. You’ll find some great bars serving pintxos around Carrer de Bali 35.
Addis Abeba is an Ethiopian restaurant I really loved. It was my first time eating at an Ethiopian restaurant and I will definitely be doing it again! When eating you sit at small tables and eat with your hands, it has great prices and is a great change of pace from the Spanish food.
La Tagliatella is an Italian restaurant with huge portions of delicious food for great prices! They are located at the top of Arenas de Barcelona, as well as by Av. Diagonal and I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes Italian food!
A great vegan restaurant The whole menu is filled with healthy and delicious options, and for anyone in the mood for something sweeter, they serve gluten free non-fried almond based doughnuts and vegan croissants!
La Botiga is also located at the top of Arena de Barcelona, I highly recommend their paella with a glass of sangria!
Located in the city center, Cal Pep serves some delicious sea food and offers a vibrant atmosphere.
This is a super cute place and perfect for brunch. You’ll see a lot of tourists and it can be quite hard to get a table, but it’s really good and for sure worth a visit.
You really can’t go to Barcelona and not eat churros. Xurreria San Roman offers amazing churros, and there are often queues going all the way out the door! Get yourself a bag of churros, shake a whole lot of sugar on top, and don’t forget to order a cup of chocolate to go with!
