Burgers are possibly one of the most popular dishes worldwide, coming in all shapes and forms. For both meat-eaters, vegans, and vegetarians, you can find simple ones, deluxe ones, creative ones, or colorful ones, and the list goes on. When eating my way around the world, finding good burgers are always on my list! When in Milan I discovered Flower Burger, and simply had to make it my first stop. Literally walked into the tiny and cute restaurant with my suitcase, fresh off my flight, ready for some food.
Located in the Venezia District, at via Vittorio Veneto 10, this place can be easily missed but worth to look for. All burgers they serve are vegan, creative, and delicious. It started out as a passion project by a group of young people, and then quickly grew successful. Their Porta Venezia branch was the first one and was then followed by two more.
Porta Venezia is one of the old areas of Milan, it’s such a cute district where you can easily get lost walking around for hours. The area is a crucial point for the city, connecting all the residential areas, and acting as an important spot for the service and commerce sector. It’s the meeting point of two large arteries, Corso Buenos Aires and Corso Venezia, resulting in a vibrant area filled with office buildings, shops, and restaurants to try.
Flower Burger has several different burgers to try out, as well as a limited edition special. As the place is quite small, I would recommend to come early and make plans for a takeaway lunch, or if the weather is nice, take your burger and drink to the park just across the street! Buon appetito!
