5 Beautiful beaches you must visit in Bali

Post written by Maria

Whenever I hear someone talking about Bali, the first image that comes to my mind is a beach. Aren’t you in the same boat?

During the month I spent on this amazing island, I got to know many interesting beaches all around. But the most I liked were the following:

1. Balangan beach

It is not only a stunning beach and perfectly for relaxing on the white sand, but also endowed by enormous waves that are demanded by all surfers – in particular for experience up to professional surfers.

Besides, there’re many bars where you can have delicious dishes and a cold beer while watching good quality surfing.

2. Seminyak beach

It’s a 3km beach where you can relax and swim, as it’s not usual to have interesting waves for surfing. It’s a ‘touristic spot’ (though not as crowded as Kuta beach) where you can find public facilities, international restaurants and fancy hotels.

If you love sunsets at the beach while having a cold Bintang, this is the place for you. There’re many bars with comfortable living puffs to seat and relax.

3. Canggu beach

This beautiful white sandy beach has two surfing spots which let you have many opportunities, not only for advanced surfers but also for those who wants to conquer the wave.

Close to the beach, you can find many trendy bars (such as Old Man’s) where young people enjoy some drinks after the beach

4. Uluwatu beach

It is located deep under the cliff bank featured by unique waves: great, fast, powerful and barrel that force every surfer to use their top skill to enjoy the surf adventures here. It is the most favourite surf points for pro-surfers.

For the spectators, you should grab a seat in Single Fin bar where you have the best sunset view.

5. Nusa Dua beach

It’s located in an ‘all-inclusive’ area, surrounded by a complex of world-class hotels, an up-market shopping complex, a luxurious 18-hole golf course and more. So if you’re looking for a fancy spot to go, this is your beach! And apart from that, it’s very quiet and safe.

Of course, there are many more Balinese beaches to visit but these are my favourite ones… What are yours?
